Hull Maternity Voices Partnership
What was
good?
The Hull Maternity Voices Partnership is local parents working together with people who provide and fund maternity care, to make it better for those who use it.
We help to independently gather and collate feedback relating to antenatal care, labour, birth, post natal care and infant feeding. Feedback is delivered anonymously to the other MVP members to help identify what is working well, what isn't working so well and what improvements can be made.
MVP members in Hull consist of representatives from Maternity services, Health Visiting and Childrens Centre services, the CCG, Public Health, plus several charities and organisations involved with local families such as Home Start and House of Light.
We have two independent Co-Chairs, Rachael Smith and Melissa Dalby. Both of us are local mums and have 2 children each.
